“I love the recent family photo that you did with our donkey. It reminds me everyday that my family is a little bit different. I figured if you can work with my husband then you can work with our donkey.”
“We have been together for almost 7 years and i just love how you captured our true love for each other. Our family members love them especially the ones without his cowboy hat and how we make a cute couple. Thank You!” ~ April
“We just wanted to say that having Jody share in our wedding day was fantastic! She was patient and full of ideas when we didn’t have any! With all of the emotions going on it can be difficult to stay focused but she managed to take a lot of wonderful photos to document our special day not to mention the albums and slide shows she put together for us. She was truly wonderful to work with!
As for this photo we find it definitely captures the feeling that we had that day as well as the beautiful natural backdrop that was absolutely breathtaking.
Jody, thank you again for all of your hard work. You helped make memories we will never forget!”
“Our experience with Days Go By Photography was nothing short of perfect – just like our wedding day! Jody was awesome in planning for our big day and graciously accommodated our schedules and requests.
We had a hard time deciding on only one favourite image, so chose one of our favourites.
This was the first time we had a chance to really talk to each other and say, “How are you?” that day
– and as husband and wife. Jody was able to capture how much we enjoy being with each other, and in doing so created one of our favourite images!”
“I so love the 1st birthday pictures you did with Kalvin, It was fun and I didn’t have to worry about taking pictures because I knew it was taken care of. It’s like your a part of our family. Looking in through your lens, and clicking with a Smile.”
“The reason why this is our favourite shot that Jody took of us on our big day is because this moment was magical in many senses. The wedding was over so we were finally able to relax and just enjoy the day by the time we arrived at the beach for this shot. It was a hot day and any bride can tell you, it doesn’t take much to get warm in one of these big dresses, the water splashing over the pier onto us felt so nice and there was an amazing summer breeze!
Weddings are always so busy and at this point in time, it was just the two of us together, starting our lives together as a married couple. This image represents us looking together into the future.
The photo is fairly intense for us as we usually like to smile in all our photos, but I really feel like this photo really captured the maturity of our love, the intensity of our feelings for each other and the love that we share.
It looks like we are floating above the water in this shot and in many ways, that is the way we felt at that moment, so happy, so in love and so ready to start our lives together as a married couple. Thanks Jody for capturing this moment!”
“I would like to enter my fairytale picture into the contest please. The one with Dave and I one the rocks and its all green.
This is the best shot to describe our special day because it looks like a fairytale! For one day we felt like a prince and princess in a far away land where nothing mattered except us. This picture brings tears to my eyes every time I see it!! Beautiful work Jody!! Thanks so much!!”
“My favourite photo is the one you took of me upside down (The head shot of me lying on the ground)
My reasoning is because it was the last picture of a very LONG cold fall photo shoot!!! LOL
Actually all my pics were great and the whole experience was pretty interesting …… dead deer carcus…… the hike through the rocks, trees and water in my wedding dress and all for a few fun pictures in my dress before it gets put away in a closet to collect dust!
I would recommend that every bride "Trash the Dress"…….after they get married in it of course.”
