Congratulations to Bonnie Muzzell, Amanda Aljoe and Tiffany Allen.
Here are some of the Resolutions I received.
This year my 98 year old granny passed away at christmas time. She was so full of life, never let other people&s feeling affect what was the right thing to do. Nothing ever held her back, she was classic, classy and a powerful lady. She was someone that would give you advise even if you did not want it, but in a way you didnt know it until after you walked away, and realized wow that makes sense I should do what granny said to do. She was never hurtful but gave people compliments even sometimes when the people were cold or not deserving the compliment, but she felt that by giving positive compliments she could change that persons day to go in a positive direction. She lived in the moment, and looked only at the future and did not dwell in the past. She loved her family, no matter what our flaws were, she had the biggest heart and people that hardly knew her called her granny. She was a true role model, for myself, her children, myself, and my children. I want to be more like her, to live on in her legecacy. I want to look at the future as positive and try to let things go, and not hold grudges or hard feelings. I have an ex husband that I have held hard feelings to, for two years now, I want to let go and forget the past and just move forward in a positive direction. I want to be half the woman my grandmother was, because this is what she would want from a grandchild, and this is my goal for 2010!!
Just wanted to share with you my new years resolution.
For the past 10 years I have been a devoted mother and wife…always making sure that my girls were taken care of. My husband was never there to help out, he was either working, drinking or sleeping…but I would always make sure he had what he needed too. I would have to drive him back and forth to work as he lost his license for the second time. Having to get up early mornings or late nights was hard on my girls and myself, but I did it cause I thought I had to. I never did anything for myself, just didn’t have the time.
Last June I finally stood up for myself and I left my husband. It was very hard to do since I had just finished school and didn’t have a job and I had to go ask for help from family and the government…So for the past 6 months my girls and I have had our good times and bad. I sat down with the girls in December and we talked about what we want to do in the new year.
So we made a new years resolution that we would help each other out around the house. That Mommy would spend time for herself at least once a week and that we would make this year fun , exciting and a whole new adventure for us. We hope to sell our house and move into Owen Sound and find a nice apartment for the three of us…My girls pray everyday that Mommy will find a job so that we don’t have to struggle anymore. Santa bought us a Wii for christmas so that we can spend more fun times together, and so that hopefully I can work out with the fit and Jillian Michaels..lol
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your photos with us..You do an amazing job and you have a great talent.
Happy New Years!!!
My new years resolution is to find a better life/work balance so that I can spend more time making memories with my family (instead of always capturing other people’s memories for them!)
Happy New Year!
Cheers,
For 2010 i would love to change my job and make more time for the people that mean the most to me and make a big difference in many people lives and maybe how i could do that is by helping out and got to a 3rd world city and do my nursing there.
my resolution is to stay out of and stop cleaning Jasmine’s room.
She is now 13 and wants more privacy and says she can’t find her stuff cause I am always tiding it. Well I promised her I would stay out in 2010 but she can’t complain to me when she can’t find her stuff.
My New Years Resolution is to take at least one photo a day and to spend at least 1 hour a day on my portfolio for the Ontario College of Art and Design!
I have a few
1. To try and get healthy!!
2. Is just to try to stay a little more calm when things dont go as planned.
3. To try to stop planning to many things on one day!(This one im already working on)
i want to look more into modeling, its something i’ve always wanted to to but never had the chance around here. I give up chances in modeling so i can stay close to my family and friends. This year my new years resolution is to live a dream. And of course graduate college
Honestly, I have several things I need to make my resolution like, eat better, exercise more and yell less at the kids but, I think I’d better stick to one thing at a time so for that it’s gonna be get caught up on my scrapbooking since I’m about a year behind! Poor Cohen has hardly any pages compared to his big brother.
